USA valid passport ordered, not yet
So, apart from not having ordered a new passport (rumors tell me that my passport isn’t valid in the US so I need to get a new one), I’m all set for going to the Boston Summit 2005. Been wanting to go each year since it started but two years ago we had just started Imendio and had better use for the money elsewhere and last year we were too busy. This year is busy as well but should be possible to cram it into the schedule.
Only bad thing is that I’ll be away from Emma and Carina for 5 days.
Going to be great to meet with everyone again.
*update: my passport isn’t machine readable, that’s why it’s not valid.*
If you have not entered into the US in the last year or so, you can still use once your old passport.
But anyway, if you’ve got time, I suggest you get the new one, to avoid having problems in the customs
Not valid as “not machine readable” ? Then welcome to the club.
I had the same problem although I was only going to the US to make the transit to Canada.
If it’s like in Belgium, you will also make the wonderful discovery that you passport that once costed 6 euro, will now be charged 75 euro to you.
Aren’t most passports machine readable these days? My 1999 passport is according to the Australian passport website:

Machine readable doesn’t mean “has an RFID chip”, which is what I first thought.
